Renewal of Vows
Many couples choose to celebrate and reaffirm their love and commitment for one another by renewing their marriage vows. While not a legal ceremony, and vow renewal is symbolic and sentimental and is a way for a couple to commemorate an important milestone such as a major wedding anniversary, a fresh start, or to have a different sort of ceremony.
House Blessing
A house blessing, sometimes known as a house cleansing, is a spiritual ceremony intended to heal and purify your home. The ceremony compassionately dispels, heals, and harmonizes the energies in the space and provides a place in which the occupants feel comfortable, safe, protected, and welcome. The goal is to ensure that the flow of energy within the home is harmonious and will benefit the people and pets who live there. People frequently seek to have a blessing after buying (or renting) a new home or apartment. The blessing can be conducted before or after moving in. Other occasions when people choose a blessing are after renovations, after a marriage, in preparation for or after the birth of a baby, or just as an annual ritual.
Blessing of Business or Other Important Place
Essentially the same as a house blessing but performed in other spaces which are important or frequently occupied. Your place of business, the place where your wedding will take place, your car. Basically any place you can think of.
Baby Blessing
A baby blessing or baby welcoming is a ceremony often used by couples who are interfaith or intercultural or who have no ties to a church in order to fill a need for a ritual representing beliefs important to them. It can be used as an alternative to a christening and can serve as a new tradition which can bring together other religious or religiously diverse members of the extended family.
